In previous years AFRC has set the standard for inclusive paddocks and to build on the announcement of a partnership with Paul Sheard Racing the team are pleased to announce a partnership with one of Scotland’s best known wholesale coffee suppliers, Caber Coffee.

Chris Slator said “aside from the difficulties we had in 2020 and recovery in 2021 following the pandemic we’ve been proud of the facilities we offer our competitors and their team personnel and it’s great to get that back for 2022.  Our inclusive paddock space is really important to us especially when so many of our competitors spend extended periods away from their families and what’s more welcoming than smelling some fresh brewed coffee.  The team at Caber have a great reputation for their products and we look forward to giving them a try and I’d like to thank them for their support.”

Caber Coffee have been working closely with The Forces’ Motorsport Charity, Mission Motorsport for a number of years and have marketed a Fairtrade certified Arabica brew to support the charity.  AFRC will be exclusively serving the Mission Motorsport Fairtrade coffee to competitors and team members throughout the 2022 season.

Findlay Leask said “our business started as a family business in Aberdeen but we now operate nationally.  Supplying the motorsport industry is a good example of how we’re able to diversify into different business areas.  We’re established to supply everything from a home coffee drinker, through offices of all sizes, up to large hospitality venues and everything in between.  We ensure our products are ethically sourced and donate 2% of our ingredient sales back to social enterprise projects in the local areas.  We already supply some race teams and we’re proud to bring support to benefit a whole championship which will bring the added benefit of raising awareness of Mission Motorsport through our coffee”.

The first round of the 2022 AFRC Championship gets underway at Silverstone on 1st May 2022.
