Dear all,

Please see the following statement from 750 Motor Club:

Due to concerns surrounding new coronavirus variants, the Welsh Government has adopted a more cautious approach than had previously been envisaged regarding the lifting of restrictions surrounding outdoor events. Consequently the 750 Motor Club’s forthcoming 19th/20th June meeting at Anglesey Circuit has been rescheduled. Ministers had originally planned to relax restrictions from mid-May, however newly re-appointed First Minister Mark Drakeford said that officials had made the difficult decision to hold back on lifting local restrictions, whilst awaiting more advice on the new variant. A new 750 Motor Club Anglesey fixture has now been scheduled for the 21st/22nd August, which will allow a significant extra period of time for the anticipated easing of restrictions in Wales. All 11 series and championships previously in attendance will move to the new date, which still allows a suitable gap in between earlier and later events in respective formulae calendars.

Whilst it comes as a disappointment to you all we have accepted the offer from 750 Motor Club to move our race to the August meeting – the unforeseen extension gives some chance to get builds finished in time for Snetterton.
