Next Mile Driver Training Partners with Armed Forces Race Challenge 2026 to Support Veterans
New Trophies Initiative Recognises Veterans’ Achievements in Motorsport
Armed Forces Race Challenge is proud to announce a new partnership Next Mile Driver Training for the 2026 season, aimed at recognising and celebrating the achievements of veterans competing in the championship.
For the first time, Next Mile Driver Training will sponsor trophies dedicated exclusively to the veteran competitors throughout the full AFRC championship season. This initiative underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting those who have served, providing a platform for veterans to showcase their skills and camaraderie on the racetrack, in addition to their Veteran Support Package for service leavers to retrain as a Driving Instructor.
“Veterans have shaped my life, my family and my work, and I am aware it can be tough to find your footing again, especially transitioning to civvy street. Next Mile Driver Training has always centred on supporting people who are rebuilding, progressing and finding their next chapter, and the AFRC Veteran community embodies that spirit.” Mel for Next Mile Driver Training said.
Mel continued “The AFRC gives veterans a place to continue pushing themselves and reconnect with the Armed Forces community. This is one of the many reasons we’re supporting dedicated veteran trophies. I’m proud that Next Mile Driver Training can help celebrate their achievements this season.”
The Armed Forces Race Challenge, renowned for its inclusive and competitive spirit, welcomes this new initiative as a testament to the growing recognition of veterans’ contributions both on and off the circuit. The addition of dedicated trophies is set to enhance the championship experience and encourage greater participation among service leavers.
