Stanley Black & Decker and MacTools pledge support to AFRC

The organisers of AFRC have teamed up with Stanley Black & Decker to get high quality tools at special prices for AFRC competitors. AFRC manager Chris Slator said “It’s a very welcome deal for us at AFRC, nearly all the cars on our grid are driver owned and maintained. Giving access to these tools at good prices is one less thing for the competitors to worry about as it may prevent them from buying lower quality tools for budgetary reasons.”

This makes Mac Tools, Facom, Expert by Facom and DEWALT items all accessible to the AFRC community at reduced cost. AFRC driver Dan Tedstone said “The ordering process is completely trouble-free, we have a dedicated point of contact in the HQ with our own reference number. We order over the phone and the order arrives promptly.”

Mark Stenning, Mac Tools General Sales Manager said “It’s great to be able to support the AFRC competitors, we want them to have the best equipment possible for their competition. By using Mac Tools, Facom, Expert by Facom and DEWALT they have the confidence that they’re not going to be let down by the tool in their moment of need.”

Chris Slator said “It’s important for us to make contacts in different areas of the industry to make our competition the best it can be. What Mark and his team have put together will be of great benefit to our competitors. We hope to be able to return the favour by using our environment to promote their brand in the motorsports community. Motorsport is as much about engineering as it is about driving: teams wouldn’t skimp and save on available engine power or grip levels for the car so shouldn’t do so on the engineering.”

Stanley Black & Decker is a world-leading provider of tools and storage, commercial electronic security and engineered fastening systems, with unique growth platforms and a track record of sustained profitable growth. No matter where you live, what car you drive, what stores you shop at, or what building you work in, you can bet that they had a hand in making it work.

Chris Slator concluded “We look forward to welcoming Mark and his team along to a forthcoming championship round to meet the competitors, hopefully we’ll put a good show on for them and they’ll enjoy what we have to offer along with meeting our other supporters & sponsors”.
